Adeyanju reveals why he criticizes APC

Human right activist, Deji Adeyanju, has given the reason he has continued to criticize president Muhammadu Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adeyanju has been a staunch critic of the present administration based on its policies and happening in the country. In his comment, he noted that since Buhari is the one in power under the platform of the APC, he won’t stop.

“Some people ask why do I criticize only APC and Buhari all the time? Who’s in government in Nigeria? Who’s the president of Nigeria? If you don’t want to be criticized, resign. Where have you been in the last 2yrs when I descended on PDP and their governors?

‘When someone criticize me that the first thing I do is to check his status, posts and tweets. Immediately I see he’s someone defending APC, Buhari, Tinubu, PDP, a Governor, etc; all I do is laugh and move on. Never reason with a man who has incentive to be unreasonable.

Prediction on 2019 election

Speaking about the outcome of the 2019 general election which was mainly between APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winning many posts, the human right activist said some third force people have compromised.

“When I said the 2019 elections was between PDP and APC and that some of the third Force people had compromised, many of their supporters and friends called me names. How far now? The Truth will always hurt. If it doesn’t hurt then maybe it’s not the truth.

Speaking on killings in the country, Adeyanju noted that 120 people have been killed after his reelection with Kaduna state being on the front burner.

“The killers in Kaduna, are they invincible or above the law? Just wondering why they never get caught. Oh sorry, forgot someone says he pays them off.

“Where are the soldiers that went to Rivers State, Akwa Ibom and other Niger Delta states to kill innocent Nigerians, they are needed in Kaduna now?

“About 120 people killed since he won re-election, no government action. If it’s to rig elections now, you will see soldiers everywhere,” he said.
